2019/2020 Highlights

Sometimes TCG leads and sometimes we provide critical support so others have what they need to lead. In 2019/2020 we led or supported:

Three 2019/202 highlights were

  • Supporting the work of the Adverse Childhood Experiences Coalition of Guelph and Wellington. Including developing training, a toolkit and launching our website
  • Co-chairing the Nutritious Food Workstream for Our Food Future
  • Launching the Complex Client Care Training

Before 2019 Highlights

  • Developed and maintain data portal*
  • Partnered with Guelph Community Foundation and Community Engaged Scholarship Institute on Vital Signs Report. This report provides a high-level snapshot of health and wellbeing in Guelph and Wellington County.
  • Co-facilitated (with the Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy (WGDS) and PTF) a Call to Action for Non-medical Crisis Stabilization. Details about this issue and local solutions are found in this Summary Report
  • Co-facilitated meetings to identify short- and long-term options for non-medical crisis stabilization leading to the successful pilot of the Supported Recovery Room
  • Conducted Needs Assessment on Recreational, Volunteer and Work Preferences and Participation Needs of Individuals who are Homeless and/or Street Involved
  • Developed Common Language Framework
